Have you made any swing changes recently that have improve your swing in practice, but can’t take it to the course?
The hardest part about make swing changes is the fact that you have to unlearn the old swing and replace it with a new swing.

Karl wrote in and said:

“I stopped playing golf in 2004 because of injuries, but I started taking lessons again in 2009. My swing was completely torn down and rebuilt. Now my instructor says that my swing is better than most tour players and I should be a scratch golfer but I don’t trust my swing on the golf course, especially after a bad shot or two.”

The question Dr. Patrick Cohn answers this week is:

“How do I take my practice swing to the golf course?”

The improvement has been very good and am very proud of how he now prepares, plays, and evaluates his performances as he has shown a great maturity for being ten years old. I am confident these skills will hold him in good stead for the future.”
